Managing Clients & Contacts

Add clients, manage contact records, and control portal access.

Clients in Amplyr are the artists, labels, or managers you're working with. Each client record holds their contact information, project history, contracts, invoices, and portal access status. Contacts are the individual people associated with a client — a label may have multiple contacts, for example.

Adding a client

Go to Clients → Add Client

What you'll need:

  • Client name
  • Primary contact name and email

Adding a client does not automatically send them a portal invite. You control when they get access.

Adding contacts to a client

A client can have multiple contacts — different people at a label, a manager and an artist, a band with multiple members. Add contacts from within the client record.

Go to Clients → select client → Contacts → Add Contact

Each contact can have their own portal access, independent of other contacts on the same client record.

Inviting a client to their portal

When you're ready for a client to access their portal, send them an invite from within their record.

Go to Clients → select client → Send Portal Invite

They'll receive an email with instructions to create their password and log in. You'll see their portal status update to Active once they've authenticated.

Active vs. archived clients

Only active clients count toward your tier limit. Archive clients you're no longer actively working with to keep your account within your tier thresholds without losing their history.

Studio Pro accounts support up to 50 active clients. Studio Premier accounts have no limit. See pricing for details.

What clients can do in their portal
