Managing Engineers
Add your team, assign roles, and control who has access to what.
Engineers are the people doing the work inside your projects. They can create and manage projects, upload tracks, manage file delivery, and interact with clients on active work. They don't have access to billing, invoicing, or studio settings.
Adding an engineer
Go to Settings → Engineers → Add Engineer
What you'll need:
- Their name
- Their email address
That's it. They'll receive an invite email and set up their own access. You don't need to create a password for them.
Active vs. inactive engineers
Only active engineers count toward your tier limit. If an engineer is no longer working with your studio, mark them inactive rather than deleting them. Their project history stays intact. You can reactivate them at any time.
What engineers can and can't do
- View and create projects
- Upload and manage tracks
- Deliver files to clients
- Message clients
- View or manage invoices
- Access billing settings
- View projects outside their own
Assigning engineers to projects
Engineers are assigned at the project level. When you create a project, assign the relevant engineer. You can reassign or add engineers to a project at any time from within the project settings.
Resending an invite
If an engineer hasn't received their invite, go to Settings → Engineers → select engineer → Resend Invite
